Welcome to Creative Arts East

Creative Arts East is an arts development charity working with public, private and voluntary sector partners and stakeholders to deliver quality arts services in response to identified need. Our touring shows, cinema scheme, diversity and inclusion projects and participatory programmes contribute to community development, add to the health and well-being of communities and individuals and provide creative learning opportunities for people of all ages.

CAE is delighted to announce that we now have six Patrons. Richard Mabey and Andrew Motion were the first to accept the invitation. Now local historian and TV presenter Bryan McNerney, actor Roger Lloyd Pack, his wife, poet and author Jehane Markham, and author Louis De Berniere have all agreed to become new Patrons. We are delighted to have a such an illustrious set of advocates and supporters on board and we thank them all for their acceptance.

"Thanks very much for your message. I'd be honoured and delighted to be a Patron of CAE." Richard Mabey

"Thank you. I’m sorry your appeal against the cuts wasn’t successful – but I’m delighted you’ve reacted with such energy. I’d be very happy to become a Patron. All good wishes" Andrew M

"Thank you for your invitation to become patrons. We both value the work that you do across the County and we'd be pleased, indeed honoured, to become patrons." Best Wishes, Roger Lloyd Pack, Jehane Markham

As part of our new era and in recognition of all the support we have received we are delighted to launch the brand new CAE Friends Scheme. Being a Friend means you will be kept up to date on CAE and will be invited to two special events every year - performances, after-show talks, receptions or private views. The first special event is booked for 9th October - we hope to meet many Friends there. Click the link to Sign Up.
